MONSIEUR A aka ANDRE SARAIVA in MOSCOW - André‘s Dream Concerts exhibition - アンドレMR A
André Saraiva, French grafitti artist, nightlife impresario and art director of L'Officiel Hommes opens his first exhibition in Moscow on the 16 November. The Dream Concerts show consists of posters for fictional concerts which would take place if André's favourite artists could perform together for just one night. How about Pulp, Oasis and Blur at London's Koko? Or Air, Phoenix, Daft Punk and Justice at L'Elysee Monmartre? André's posters have already appeared in Los Angeles, New York, Paris, London, Venice and Basel, causing curiosity in the art world and lots of phonecalls to puzzled venues and concert promoters. André involves both art and music in his pranks, plus a bit of vandalism (he was arrested earlier this year for putting up posters in Tokyo). As part of the project André has covered a Moscow street with posters promoting an imagined concert featuring Daft Funk, Kanye West, Pharell Williams, Jay Z, Dr Dre, Miley Cyrus and Frank Ocean, allegedly due to take place on Red Square.
The exhibition runs from 16 November to 1 December at Tsvetnoy Central Market.
