Masaya Kuroki on Cafe Kitsuné, Baseball and Reebok Classics

Never far from exciting ventures that span the realm of fashion, art and music, Kitsune continues its global invasion — following recent outposts in Hong Kong and New York. The brand’s latest venture sees a follow-up from its Parisian-inspired Reebok Classics collaboration, unveiled in February. Teaming up again with the longstanding sporting imprint for 2015 fall/winter, the two brands worked up a capsule collection inspired by baseball. We recently traveled to Tokyo to catch up with Kitsune co-founder Masaya Kuroki, who shares with us his love for coffee, and further explains how this affinity contributes to the brand’s overarching aesthetics in the often ambiguous realm of “lifestyle.” He also lets us in on how the Reebok Classic collaboration came to fruition and sheds light on his Japanese heritage.
